“Motility: Images & Activations”

"Motility: Images & Activations", a new VSA Florida exhibition of work by students, teaching artists, and adult artists with disabilities, will be featured at the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at Edison State College in Fort Myers. The exhibition will feature a retrospective of Ann Harrison-May, a Lee County resident and VSA artist, who passed away recently, as well as an interactive art project using ArtThread software.
The event is open to the public.
VSA FL is "The State Organization on Arts and Disability". It works to increase arts, education, and cultural opportunities in inclusive settings for and by Floridians with disabilities. Headquartered at the University of South Florida in Tampa, it is a member of the international network of VSA, an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. It is active in every Florida County and helped to establish the Arts in Healthcare program at Lee Memorial Health System in 1997.
